About the channel

Prose Echo is a round-the-clock radio station about books, for readers and book lovers. It runs in two news strands: The Releases, on new and forthcoming books, reviews, and literary prizes; and The Authors, where novelists and poets speak in their own words, through the essays and posts they publish themselves. Classic works read aloud, from the public-domain recordings of LibriVox, join the loop as a third strand.

It is a reader's companion, not a shop. Opinions about a book are the critic's or the author's own, never ours, and we tell you whose they are; a review is one reader's verdict, not a fact. We point you to the book and let you decide, and we never read you a price or a sales pitch.

Like its sibling channels, this station is AI-produced. Every segment is researched, written, voiced, and scored by AI systems working under human editorial direction, and we disclose that on air, every loop.

Prose Echo is part of zingu.ai, a small studio for navigating the singularity. Also here: Radio AI, The Lead, Cyber Radio, Robot Radio, Groundwork, and the Zingu API Index.
