# Description For searching in zbMATH you may employ the Structured Search for convenient combination of all search fields. While similar to the 1-line syntax search, this endpoint offers much more convenience and transparency which fields are searched at the cost of search flexibility. # Examples - **author_code: 'smith.ivan'**: Search for the author with the zbMATH code **smith.ivan** - **author_name: 'Smith'**: Search for authors with the name **Smith** - **collective: 'bass.hyman'**: Search for the names of the author collective(s) that the author with the zbMATH code **bass.hyman** is in. - **in_collective: 'bourbaki.nicolas'**: Search for authors that are in the author collective with the zbMATH code **bourbaki.nicolas** # Search fields - **Anywhere**: Includes ai, au, aw, cc - **Author code**: zbMATH author ID - **Author name**: Author name - **Award**: Name of an award (to find laureates) - **Collectives of**: Name of a collective (to find members of this collective) - **External ID**: External author ID: ORCID, MGP, Wikidata object number and others - **Family Name**: Last name - **Given Name**: First name - **In collective**: Name of an author (to find collectives the author is a member of) - **Main fields**: Main Fields of the author (given by first two MSC digits) - **Publication year**: Year(s) in which the author has published.
